The company manufactures and sells generic over-the-counter medications, and a major portion of its current business consists of sales of private-label brands of well known non-prescription medications to large retailers and distributors. Chemrich has been particularly successful in selling private-label formulations of brand name products such as Afrin Nasal Spray, Pepto-Bismol, Robitussin, Children’s Tylenol and Nyquil. This success is based on the company’s ability to formulate medications that are as good as or better than the name brand products.
